Is it Time to Change my Mattress?
Having a good night sleep has a massive impact on our everyday lives as well as our general health and well being, therefore having a good quality mattress is key.
Are you sneezing more when you go to bed?
This could be caused by allergies and dust mites. The older your mattress is the higher amounts of dust mites are found, your mattress provides the ideal living conditions for dust mites, this is due to our dead skin cells and also our body fluids. Studies have shown we can shed up to a 1lb of skin a year whilst we are asleep and loose up to 10 ounces of fluid a night. It is faeces from these mites that can cause us to suffer from allergies. If you are an asthma/allergy sufferer we recommend our Reflections Mattress or Memory Foam 8000. These are hypoallergenic and prohibit the development of dust mites.

Is your mattress looking old?
We should check our mattresses regularly for any signs of general wear and tear, also if the mattresses is starting to creak or ping you should start to consider investing in a new one, check regularly for any lumps or springs that could be preventing you from getting a good night sleep.
Has your body changed shape?
If you have gained or lost weight over a period of time it maybe that the mattress no longer supports your body comfortably.
Is your mattress over 8 years old?
It is recommended by the Sleep Council and the Mattress industry that mattresses are replaced at least every 8 years, it's not always obvious to us what condition our mattress is in as they are hidden under our bedding however if any of the problems above sound familiar it may be time to invest in a new one.
