Structure
The bases are constructed from solid MDF throughout. MDF has been proven to be a stronger material than any timber and pegboard divan alternative. The corner joints are solid MDF uprights supporting the sheets on top. The fabric is wipe-able and the base itself has an anti slip fabric stitched in to prevent movement from the mattress.
You have an option to choose a sprung-loaded top for the divan bed base. This design extends the life of your mattress by taking some of the pressure placed upon the base. This is akin to pocket springs placed into mattresses but installed in the top layer of the divan.
Due to the strength of these built to last bed bases, we offer our unique heavy duty guarantee for up to 10 years. This is unique as only Reinforced Beds provide this type of guarantee on the market.
Finish Options
Through purchasing a heavy duty divan base, you are not compromising on the finish of your bed. To go alongside your sturdy bed frame, you can also choose from a vast collection of fabrics and colours. From a faux linen finish through to a modern faux leather, the colour choice on these fabrics are plentiful.
Divan bases are a great and versatile bed frame. If storage is at a premium, the divans allow for drawers underneath. Our ottomans provide storage space in the cavity underneath your mattress instead of drawers. If you require an extra deep ottoman base, we can facilitate this.
Due to the weight of the extra reinforced bed bases available, we do supply heavy duty castors and gliders on each product.
Finally whilst not included as standard you have the choice of a headboard to add to the divan base. With various designs and finishes, your perfect bed base can come together with ease. If you already have a headboard, our divan base are made with headboard holes on each end so your existing headboard will be compatible.
