Side Lift Electric Ottoman Base

The Heavy Duty Side Lift Electric Ottoman Bed incorporates the same exclusive extra strong base as our ottoman divan beds but supplied with an electric opening mechanism which can be operated via a remote control. The actual base is constructed using 18mm faced MDF, making the product very strong and gives a nice clean look on the inside, we even use a strong 8mm faced MDF on the bottom instead the standard Plywood used on most ottomans on the market, this is ideal for storage of items. There is also an anti slip fabric applied to the top of the lid.

The lift is operated by gas struts and as standard we supply 900N force which is suitable for all our heavy mattresses and capable of lifting a 100Kg mattress, although if heavier we can supply even higher pressure struts. The hinges and struts used are the best quality available on the market for this application. For our ottomans the approximate max storage weight is 20kgs per half.

The base is supplied with metal orbit castors as standard, improving the strength and appearance. The standard height is 30cm excluding the castors or glides (35cm including), we so though offer bespoke sizes and heights for alternative storage capacity.

Headboards are not included and are sold separately, however, we have collated a group of suitable headboards for divans for your convenience (see headboards below). All fabrics (see fabrics below) used are tested to Source 5 fire regulations and are suitable for residential and most commercial environments.

WEIGHT GUIDE (BED & MATTRESSES)

All of our Weight Limits are per sleeper, a single bed assumes that there is 1 sleeper, a small double and over assumes 2 sleepers. If a bed that has a limit of 25 stone, any person who is over this weight would void the guarantee.
